NIYATI LIBOTTE

Niyati Libotte is an award-winning Producer, Director and Writer based in Sydney, Australia. She was mentored by seminal Australian Film Directors Shawn Seet and Peter Faiman, and Bollywood Filmmaker Subhash Ghai. She has worked with filmmakers including Damian Lay, Marcus Gillezeau, Peter Abbott and Paul G Roberts across feature films, factual series and feature documentaries for over 15 years.

Eschewing the medical sciences for the bohemian life, Niyati studied Media Arts and Production at UTS, graduating Dux after a period filmmaking and singing jazz in France. A passionate believer in ethical and impact storytelling across genres, Niyati is also a published writer, poet and performer.

She has developed, written, produced and/or directed for a number of studios and broadcast partners internationally. Her work has won at film festivals including two Cannes World Film Festival Best Feature Documentary Awards, an Impact Doc Award, Hollywood Gold Award, one Boston and two Miami Independent Film Awards, Paris Film Award, Stockholm Shorts Festival, and the world’s first Digital Emmy for environmental drama feature Scorched (2009).

GAVIN RENE LIBOTTE

Gavin Rene Libotte is a multi award winning Australian Musician/photographer born in Kent Sussex England and is currently based in Sydney. He has been in love with Photography since he set up his own darkroom in the bathroom as a teenager. Studying Fine Art and Graphic Design gave him the visual skills and photographic eye that is needed to create stunning images.  His current obsession is Street Photography, where art meets the everyday and the human story is documented in a moment. His photographic influences include Ray K Metzker, Trent Parke and Alex Webb.

He has won numerous awards including Reportage Photographer of the Year Australian Photographic Prize and runner up Australasia’s Emerging Top Photographer 2023.

He has exhibited in the US, Italy, Prague, Tokyo, Brussells and many more.
